Yes — we use heavy tempered safety glass that's code-compliant. Tempered glass is 4–5× stronger than regular glass and shatters into safe, blunt-edged pieces if ever broken. It's the same type of glass used in car side windows and commercial applications.
Typically 3/8" or 1/2" tempered glass, depending on the height of the panel, the span between posts and your local code requirements. We'll specify the correct thickness after the measure.
Both standoff (point-fixed with metal fittings that grip the glass face) and channel (glass sits in a base rail at the floor level) systems — each with a distinct aesthetic. Standoff gives a floating, minimal look; channel gives a sleek, base-anchored look. We'll walk you through the trade-offs at your measure.
Yes — standoff fittings and top caps are available in chrome, brushed nickel, matte black and other finishes to coordinate with your existing hardware and fixtures.
